The u-14 A team kept their league title hopes alive with a convincing 5-0 win against Knock/Kiltimagh this evening. The visitors started brightly and were unlucky not to go ahead, but for the heroics of Tommy Scahill in the Westport goal. The hosts finally got a foothold in the match and took the lead with a poachers finish from Sam Walsh. Goal of the game followed shortly with a flowing move and tremendous finish from Rossa McAllister. Another from Sam Walsh gave Utd a 3-0 halftime lead. It was mostly one-way traffic in the 2nd half , and further goals followed with a screamer from Oisin Ryall and a Rossa McAllister header.
