Westport travelled to Renmore today for a 3rd round tie in the Sfai. The first half was very even with very few clear cut chances, and it ended scoreless. In the second half Westport came more into the game, and 2 Cillian Heaney goals proved the difference. Westport showed great character in the 2nd half, against a physically stronger team, and had big performances throughout the team. Next up in the Sfai , is a home 4th round tie against the winners of Stonepark v Knock/Kiltimagh.
